Our team has begun much-needed repairs to our Children in Crisis school. The road has washed away at least three feet since the school was built in 2011, and you can no longer drive into the compound. The land erosion in the area is beginning to threatening the structural integrity of the school.
We have identified and begun several repairs to combat this land erosion. We are constructing cement drainage gutters all around the school to minimize the erosion and to direct groundwater around the school. We have also started construction on a wall around the school to retain the land in the compound, and to improve security in the school.
