The Walls are up at Gbama School
The school at Gbama is going up quickly! The walls are up, the roof is on, and the school is looking great. The students and community are so excited to have a new school for the upcoming school year.
When we visited the village in July, the construction crew were hard at work making the cement blocks and building up the wall. We were welcomed to the village with ceremony and dancing. We had a meeting with the community where they expressed their excitement and appreciation over the new school. We are impressed by the community’s commitment to education and the student’s passion for learning.
