Kambawama Fire Disaster Relief

Earlier this month, a village in the area where we work and the home village of one of Programme for Children’s staff suffered a fire disaster. The fire destroyed seven homes leaving over 100 people homeless.  The ongoing support of our donors made a rapid response possible, providing food and supplies to families whose homes were destroyed. Programme for Children coordinated with community leaders and provided mattresses, rice, oil, buckets, and other supplies to help the community recover and rebuild.

It is because of the ongoing support of people like you that the families in this community received emergency relief so quickly. Please consider a donation to help ensure communities in Sierra Leone have immediate access to the resources they need to protect and build their communities.
